Early Life and Career

Steven Patrik Josefsson Fragogiannis was born on November 22nd of 1982 in Athens, Greece. Raised by a Greek father and a Swedish mother in Stockholm, Sweden, Steven started DJing at the age of 12. His brother Antoine also grew up to become a DJ, later performing under the stage name AN21.

During his early years, Steve performed at various scratch competitions and became influenced by hip-hop and breakbeats. However, he later transitioned more towards electronic music by his late teens. At the age of six, Steven met Sebastian Ingrosso for the first time, and the childhood friends would later go on to form the Swedish House Mafia.

Steve Angello: From “Not So Dirty” to Swedish House Mafia

Steven Angello, also known as Who’s Who, began producing music in the early 2000s and collaborated with Sebastian Ingrosso. He founded his own record label, Size Records, and gained recognition with his remix of “Sweet Dreams” and the hit “Tell Me Why” with Axwell. He later collaborated with Laidback Luke on “Show Me Love” and formed Swedish House Mafia with Axwell and Ingrosso in 2008, releasing hits like “One” and “Don’t You Worry Child.” In 2013, Angello focused on his record label and explored new genres, but returned to the spotlight in 2017 with performances and new singles. His solo album, “Human,” coincided with the reunion of Swedish House Mafia in 2018, and they announced a world tour for 2019.

Family Life

Steve Angello’s brother Antoine Josefsson is also a DJ and producer, known as AN21. The two have collaborated on various projects and have toured together.

Angello is married to Swedish model Isabel Adrian and the couple has two daughters.
