Early in June 2009, in Pore, Croatia, Kabrhel won his first live competition. He received a prize of more than 190,000 euros for winning the No Limit Hold’em division of the European Poker Championship in Baden, Lower Austria, in the middle of October 2009.

He chose to compete in the High Roller event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Deauville, France, at the end of January 2010, earning 250,000 euros in prize money.
