Bow Wow (born Shad Gregory Moss in Columbus, Ohio on March 9, 1987) is an American rapper, TV host, and actor. While performing at a concert in L.A. in 1993, he was noticed by Snoop Dogg, who gave him his nickname, Lil Bow Wow and his first big break. He released his first album, Beware Of Dog, in 2000, at age 13. He has gone on to appear on TV’s Moesha, The Steve Harvey Show, Ugly Betty, and Brothers Garcia. He also kick started a film career with 2002’s Like Mike, and went on to appear in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Roll Bounce, Lottery Ticket, Madea’s Big Happy Family and Hurricane Season. In October 2013, Bow Wow took over as the host of BET’s show 106 & Park.
